TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has predicted that Jakarta and its surrounding areas are potential targets for rain on Thursday afternoon through the evening of November 6, 2025. The early warning of rain, accompanied by thunder and strong winds, is targeted for almost the entire Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi areas, also known as Jabodetabek area.
With air humidity around 64-95 percent, today's weather tends to be overcast to rainy. Based on BMKG's 24-hour weather forecast, thick overcast weather will initiate in parts of Jakarta and its surrounding areas, precisely from 01:00 to 07:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time).
Then, until 13:00 WIB, the weather will still be heavily overcast with the potential for light-intensity rain in parts of South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Depok City, Bogor Regency and City, as well as Bekasi Regency and City.
Heading towards 19:00 WIB, light to moderate-intensity rain is predicted to occur in parts of North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. The same forecast applies to Bekasi Regency and City, Bogor Regency and City, Tangerang Regency and City, South Tangerang City, and Depok City.
Meanwhile, the air temperature in the Jabodetabek area today ranges from 24-31 degrees Celsius, while the temperature in Bogor City and Regency is lower, around 20-28 degrees Celsius.
