TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The parent company of Google, Alphabet, recorded a consolidated revenue of US$102.3 billion in the third quarter of 2025 (around Rp 1.7 quadrillion). Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Alphabet and Google, Anat Ashkenazi, said this amount increased by 16 percent year-on-year.
Revenue for the third quarter of this year was higher than last year's third quarter, which was recorded at US$88.2 billion. The largest revenue comes from Google Search and other advertising segments, as well as YouTube ads.
"Revenue from Google Search and other ads increased by 15 percent to US$56.6 billion, while YouTube ads increased by 15 percent to US$10.3 billion," said Anat as quoted from Alphabet's official website on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
Furthermore, according to Alphabet's report, revenue from the Google Network segment amounted to US$7.4 billion, down 3 percent from last year. Then, revenue from Google Subscriptions, Platforms & Devices amounted to US$12.9 billion, up 21 percent.
Google Cloud services amounted to US$15.2 billion, up 34 percent. Other bets or businesses outside the core Google services amounted to US$344 million, down 11 percent. Alphabet also recorded hedging losses of US$207 million, bringing the total consolidated revenue to US$102.3 billion.
According to Anat Ashkenazi, the revenue from the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) was driven by the Artificial Intelligence (AI) product Gemini 2.5. "We had strong growth in enterprise AI infrastructure and enterprise AI solutions," she said.
Anat reported a net income of US$35 billion in the third quarter of 2025, which was a 33 percent increase. Earnings per share increased by 35 percent, reaching US$2.87.
Sundar Pichai, the Chief Executive Officer of Google and Alphabet, said the Gemini AI model greatly supports Google Cloud, which has over 650 million monthly active users. This figure also tripled compared to the second quarter.
The current flagship AI model includes Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo, Genie 3, and Nano Banana. More than 230 million videos have been produced with Veo 3, and more than 13 million developers have created with Google's generative models.
A next-generation Gemini model, claimed to be more advanced, is expected to be released at the end of this year. "We are looking forward to the release of Gemini 3 later this year," said Pichai.
