Java Jazz Festival 2026 to Feature Global Star-Studded Lineup

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The much-anticipated International Java Jazz Festival is back this year, bringing together world-class musicians alongside Indonesia’s finest talents.

Entering its 21st edition, Java Festival Production is set to host the myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026 from May 29–31, 2026, at NICE (Nusantara International Convention Exhibition) PIK 2, Tangerang.

The festival promises more than 10 stages curated across diverse genres, from classic jazz to contemporary explorations of R&B, soul, funk, and pop.

Java Jazz 2026 International Lineup

This year’s lineup features an impressive roster of international artists, including Grammy-winning R&B singer Ella Mai, known for hits like “Boo’d Up” and “Trip”. Also joining are alternative R&B singer Jenevieve and aron!, celebrated for his smooth vocals and emotive, personal style.

From Brazil, singer-songwriter Joao Sabia brings his signature blend of MPB, samba, bossa nova, and contemporary pop. Australian big band Harbourside Jazz adds dynamic brass energy to the festival.

Other international acts include Frank McComb, Camerata Florianopolis, and Kevin Powell & Company, representing soul, jazz, and contemporary orchestral music.

Earlier announcements for the festival’s first lineup phase confirmed major names like Jon Batiste, performing a special show on May 29, and wave to earth on May 30.

Additional confirmed international artists include Dave Koz & The Summer Horns, Lisa Simone, Thee Sacred Souls, Close Counters, Billyrrom, Niko Niko Tan Tan, Citrus Sun, Justin Lee Schultz, JustKing Jones, Yufu, and special performances by Earth, Wind & Fire by Al McKay and Incognito.

Indonesian Talent Takes the Stage

The festival also showcases a rich lineup of Indonesian musicians spanning generations. Maliq & D’Essentials will return with their signature grooves, harmonies, and arrangements. Other homegrown stars include Slank, RAN, Bilal Indrajaya, and Ziva Magnolya.

The Indonesian lineup further includes Wijaya 80, The Groove feat. Tiara Effendy, Rafi Sudirman feat. Rara Sudirman, a collaboration between Barsena Bestandhi & Nadhif Basalamah, Jo Soegono, Yongkeys & His Playground feat. Dario Brass Band, and Matthew Sayersz with Marclesia Karim.

A New Chapter for Java Jazz

At a press conference on March 11, 2026, in Jakarta, Dewi Gontha, CEO of Java Festival Production, described this year’s edition as a new chapter in the festival’s history.

“In its 21st year, myBCA International Java Jazz Festival 2026 opens a new chapter with fresh energy, a new venue at NICE PIK 2 with better international access, and a commitment to delivering a world-class festival experience,” she said.

Dewi also noted that this year’s festival will feature works from Indonesian artists, enhancing the experience for visitors beyond the music. Tickets for the festival are now available through the official website, with special promotions for myBCA digital service users.
