TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The survey institution Poltracking Indonesia has released its latest research findings regarding the evaluation of the one-year performance of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka's administration. In its findings, Poltracking noted that the majority of respondents believe the head of state still needs to reshuffle the Red and White Cabinet in the remaining period of the government.

"As many as 37.9 percent believe that a cabinet reshuffle is necessary, while 26.4 percent stated it is not necessary," said Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda Rasyid, during a presentation on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

He mentioned that ministers in charge of the economy were mostly deemed in need of a reshuffle, followed by those handling legal affairs, human rights, immigration, and correctional institutions. "The homework for Prabowo-Gibran in the legal and economic fields. This needs to be the government's focus for future evaluations," said Hanta.

In this regard, there are five reasons why Prabowo needs to carry out a ministerial reshuffle after leading his cabinet for a year. Hanta stated that the most dominant reason concerns the unsatisfactory performance of ministers, at 54.6 percent. "Then, 6.2 percent think that ministers have abused their positions," he said.

Other reasons include Poltracking finding that 6 percent of respondents believe that certain ministerial positions are not suitable for people close to Prabowo. Then, 5.9 percent said that Prabowo should reshuffle the cabinet because some ministers also hold the position of party chair.

"The fifth reason is that 5.6 percent believe a reshuffle is necessary because some ministers rarely engage with the public," Hanta stated.

In this context, Poltracking noted the three ministers with the lowest satisfaction levels in the one-year performance of the Red and White Cabinet. They are Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Manpower Minister Yassierli, and HAM Minister Natalius Pigai. All three received satisfaction levels of less than 50 percent.

This survey was conducted from October 3 to 10, 2025. The number of respondents was 1,220 people, all of whom had the right to vote or were at least 17 years old. The sampling method used in this context was multistage random sampling with an approximate margin of error of 2.9 percent at a confidence level of 95 percent. All respondents' answers were obtained through face-to-face interviews.
