TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto summoned several key aides from his Red and White Cabinet to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Among the high-ranking officials in attendance were Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, and Higher Education, Science, and Technology Minister Brian Yuliarto.
Joining the ministerial lineup were the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulator (BP BUMN) Dony Oskaria and Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo.
Minister Brian Yuliarto admitted he was not yet briefed on the specific agenda for today’s limited meeting. "It is possibly an overall economic evaluation," Brian remarked on Tuesday afternoon.
Finance Minister Purbaya similarly noted that the delegation remained in the dark regarding the specific topics to be discussed with the President. "I don't know yet; the meeting is just getting started," Purbaya said.
As of this writing, the state officials remain in the limited meeting with President Prabowo.
