TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Samsung will introduce an artificial intelligence (AI)-based feature to prevent online fraud on more Galaxy devices.
According to a report by Gizmochina on Saturday, April 11, 2026, this feature, which was introduced on the Galaxy S26 series, is currently only available to users in the United States (US).
Recent discovery of code strings in the Google Phone app (version 217 beta) indicates that Samsung may be rolling this feature out to more devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8.
The emergence of several international model numbers suggests that Samsung is preparing to roll out this feature globally.
Samsung's AI-based anti-fraud feature is designed to detect fraudulent calls in real-time and provide immediate alerts to users if they encounter suspicious conversations.
Samsung built the anti-fraud feature with support for Google's Gemini AI model, which runs directly on the device.
This technology allows conversation analysis to occur within the phone without sending data to external servers, thus enhancing user privacy.
Samsung integrated the anti-fraud feature into the built-in Phone app. A similar feature is already available on Google Pixel devices.
