TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named a new suspect in the alleged corruption involving the free nutritious meal (MBG) program at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Glory Harimas Sihombing. Glory is the Chair of the Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation, who was previously probed as a witness on Thursday, June 18.
"Investigators have designated GHS, a private actor, as a suspect in this case," said the Director of Investigation at the Jampidsus AGO, Syarief Sulaiman Nahdi, when confirmed by Tempo on Thursday.
But Syarief did not elaborate on Glory's role in the corruption case.
Based on Tempo's observation, Glory was seen leaving the Jampidsus AGO building wearing a pink detainee vest. He remained silent as authorities escorted him into a detainee vehicle.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, Glory was also questioned by the AGO investigators.
Quoted from Antara, the Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation (IFSR) once published a book titled "IFSR Strategy in Accelerating the Implementation of 32,000 SPPG & 82 Million Beneficiaries of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG)." The co-founder of this foundation is a member of the Gerindra Party, Dirgayuza Setiawan, who is now the Special Assistant to the President for Communication.
The book launch took place on May 9, 2025, and was attended by the then-Head of the BGN, Dadan Hindayana, who also provided a foreword to this book.
Meanwhile, in the Indonesia Corruption Watch report titled "Who's Behind MBG?" (Ada Siapa di Balik MBG?), the Indonesia Food Security Review Foundation is listed as affiliated with the Prabowo-Gibran Youth Volunteers, Prabowo's Expert Council Office, and the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team.
The patron of the foundation is Hanief Adrian, the Secretary General of the Prabowo-Gibran Youth Volunteers (RMPG). The report also mentioned that Glory is the coordinator of Prabowo's Expert Council Office.
Quoting from the BGN's website, the foundation managed by Glory has several MBG kitchens, including in Jalan Ki Hajar Dewantara, Sawah Sub-district, Ciputat District, South Tangerang; Jalan Godean, Sidokarto, Godean District, Sleman, Yogyakarta; Jalan Surami, Mantrijeron, Yogyakarta; Jalan M Bakri, Singajaya Jonggol, Bogor; and in Karawang.
Glory is the sixth suspect in the MBG corruption case. Previously, the prosecutor had named former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana and his two deputies, Ret. Police Inspector General Sony Sonjaya and Ret. Lieutenant General TNI Lodewyk Pusung, as suspects.
The other two suspects named were Asep Yusuf Somantri, a close associate of Sony Sonjaya, and the Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal or PT YAT, Andri Mulyono (AM), whose company provided BGN with electric motorcycles.
