TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Moderate to heavy rain hit several regions in Greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) this afternoon, Sunday, April 26, 2026. The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) weather forecast reported that the rain kicked off in Jakarta, including Jagakarsa in South Jakarta and Pasar Rebo in East Jakarta.

The early warning for rainy weather in Greater Jakarta for 02:30 p.m. - 04:30 p.m. local time also covers the regions of Gunung Sindur, Rumpin, Jasinga, and Tenjo in Bogor Regency.

This also applies to Sukawangi, Tambelang, North Tambun (Bekasi Regency), Pancoran Mas, Cimanggi, Limo, and Beji (Depok City), as well as Cisauk and its surrounding areas (South Tangerang City).

Based on the distribution, BMKG mentioned that the rain may expand to other areas in Jakarta except for the northwestern part. Rain may also pour over Bekasi; parts of Bogor Regency except for the eastern-southern part; the northern part of Bogor City; and half of the southern part of Tangerang Regency.

The weather agency urges residents in Jakarta and its surrounding areas to remain alert, especially with the moderate-to-heavy rain potential.
