TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The price of Antam gold, as monitored on the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta, rose to Rp2,670,000 per gram at 10:00 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time) on Sunday, from Rp2,651,000 per gram.
However, the buyback price for Antam gold remained unchanged at Rp2,429,000 per gram.
The price of Antam gold bullion is subject to change at any time.
Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions, in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, for all types of gold from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram).
Resales of gold bullion to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value of more than Rp10 million are subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 1.5 percent for Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders.
Article 22 Income Tax on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. Here are the prices of gold bullion as listed on the latest Antam Precious Metals website:
- Price of 0.5 grams of gold: Rp1,385,500.
- Price of 1 gram of gold: Rp2,670,000.
- Price of 2 grams of gold: Rp5,280,000.
- Price of 3 grams of gold: Rp7,895,000.
- Price of 5 grams of gold: Rp13,125,000.
- Price of 10 grams of gold: Rp26,195,000.
- Price of 25 grams of gold: Rp65,362,000.
- Price of 50 grams of gold: Rp130,645,000.
- Price of 100 grams of gold: Rp261,212,000.
- Price of 250 grams of gold: Rp652,765,000.
- Price of 500 grams of gold: Rp1,305,320,000.
- Price of 1,000 grams of gold: Rp2,610,600,000
The tax deduction for the gold purchase price, according to PMK Number 34/PMK.10/2017, requires that gold bullion purchases be subject to Article 22 Income Tax (PPh 22) of 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders.
Every gold bullion purchase must be accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding receipt.
