Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto delivered Prabowo's directive in Washington, D.C., United States, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, local time.

"Yesterday, we reported to the President, and he asked us to study all possible risks," said Airlangga, as quoted in a video caption on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube channel.

Airlangga stated that the Indonesian government is prepared for various eventualities. The US Supreme Court's ruling scenario had been discussed with the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) even before Indonesia signed the trade agreement with the US.

According to Sugiono, Indonesia's involvement has been acknowledged by the Chair of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), Ali Shaath. Sugiono stated that Ali was present at the Board of Peace meeting announcing the ISF mission in the Palestinian territory.
