Antam Gold Prices Rise by Rp15,000 per Gram

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The latest gold price from Antam, according to the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta, witnessed an increase of Rp15,000, rising from Rp2,625,000 to Rp2,640,000 per gram on Thursday at 8:49 a.m. local time.

Similarly, the buyback price of Antam gold also increased to Rp2,345,000 per gram. The Antam gold price can fluctuate at any time.

Transactions for selling gold are subject to tax deductions, in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram).

Selling back gold bars to PT Antam Tbk. with a nominal value of more than Rp10 million, it will incur Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 amounting to 1.5 percent for Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders.

PPh 22 for buyback transactions is directly deducted from the total buyback value. The tax deduction for buying gold is in accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, where the purchase of gold bars incurs a PPh 22 of 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Proof of PPh 22 deduction is provided with each purchase of gold bars.

- 1-gram gold: Rp2,640,000

- 2-gram gold: Rp5,220,000

- 3-gram gold: Rp7,805,000

- 5-gram gold: Rp12,975,000

- 10-gram gold: Rp25,895,000

- 25-gram gold: Rp64,612,000

- 50-gram gold: Rp129,145,000

- 100-gram gold: Rp258,212,000

- 250-gram gold: Rp645,265,000

- 500-gram gold: Rp1,290,320,000

- 1,000-gram gold: Rp2,580,600,000.
