Guns N' Roses Set for Jakarta Concert in November 2026

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Legendary US rock band Guns N' Roses will return to Indonesia as part of their 2026 world tour, with frontman Axl Rose and the band set to perform at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Jakarta on Saturday, November 21, 2026.

The venue, which can accommodate around 30,000 spectators, was selected to provide space for the band’s Indonesian fanbase. The Jakarta show will be one of only two Guns N’ Roses concerts in Southeast Asia, alongside Singapore.

“This is part of the GNR World Tour in Jakarta. In Southeast Asia, it is only Jakarta and Singapore,” Rajawali Indonesia founder Anas Alimi said during a press conference in Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday, June 26, 2026.

Anas said Guns N’ Roses’ Southeast Asian schedule was limited due to their tour plans, including two sold-out shows in India. He added that the band had initially considered performing in other countries in the region but eventually decided to hold concerts only in Indonesia and Singapore.

Guns N’ Roses last performed in Indonesia in 2018. Anas said bringing major international acts requires careful coordination with artists’ global touring schedules.

“Actually, Guns N’ Roses wanted to come in 2025, and it was with us as well. But they suddenly decided to perform in Bangkok instead of Jakarta,” he said.

According to Anas, the upcoming concert will be Rajawali Indonesia’s most expensive production to date as a music promoter, involving large-scale stage production, sound systems, and LED displays.

He said there are currently no plans for an opening act, as such decisions are usually made by Guns N’ Roses. However, organizers are preparing additional activities leading up to the concert, including special merchandise and other surprises for fans.

Ticket sales will be available in three phases. The Nightrain Fan Club Presale will begin on July 2, 2026, followed by the BALE by BTN Presale on July 16, and the General Sale on July 30. Tickets will be available through the TipTip platform.
